Project Description

This project involved the design and fabrication of a 5.5 metre centre console aluminium fishing boat, developed as part of MPF Engineering’s specialist marine fabrication division, Future Boats.

The vessel features a fully sealed pontoon hull, pressure tested in-house to ensure integrity and leak-free performance. An in-house designed T-top was fabricated to suit the vessel’s layout and intended offshore fishing use.

Designed, built, and tested in Tauranga, New Zealand, the boat has been proven in real-world conditions across New Zealand waters, from Cape Reinga through to the East Cape.
