Project Description

This project involved the installation of an ammonia refrigeration plantroom servicing a factory-wide glycol cooling system.

The system comprised both medium-temperature and low-temperature separators, supported by three Mycom 220JL series compressors operating as the primary refrigeration source. These compressors supplied a secondary refrigerant circuit circulating glycol at −5°C and −13°C.

Cooling and temperature control were achieved through Alfa Laval plate heat exchangers, with distribution to fan coil units and air handling systems located throughout the production areas of the facility.

Standards & Quality Assurance

  • ASME IX / ASME B31.3 compliant

  • Full Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) implemented
