Project Description
MPF Engineering completed mechanical and piping brownfields installation works at the Whakatāne Board Mill as part of a Savall project.
The scope involved the installation of new Schedule 10 pipework ranging from 4 inch to 12 inch diameter, routed through an operational factory environment. All welding was completed in accordance with approved ASME IX welding procedures and ASME B31.3 piping code requirements.
In addition to piping works, MPF Engineering carried out pump and motor replacement within a tightly constrained shutdown window, requiring careful planning and efficient execution to meet programme requirements.
