Workshop Description
MPF Engineering operates from a purpose-built workshop located at 98 Birch Avenue, Tauranga, centrally positioned to service projects across the Bay of Plenty and wider North Island. The facility offers excellent access to key regional centres, including Rotorua (approximately 30 minutes), Hamilton (80 minutes), and Auckland (approximately 2.5 hours).
Situated on a 5,000 sqm site, the workshop comprises a 1,300 sqm fully equipped fabrication facility designed to support heavy industrial and process engineering work. The workshop features three 5-tonne overhead gantry cranes and an 8-metre knee height, allowing for the safe handling, fabrication, and assembly of large-scale components.
The site provides excellent truck access and yard space, enabling efficient movement of materials and finished equipment. This makes the workshop ideally suited for the fabrication of large tanks, pressure vessels, pipe spools, ducting, and heavy engineered assemblies.
With in-house fabrication, welding, inspection, and pre-assembly capabilities, MPF Engineering’s workshop plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, schedule-driven outcomes for industrial, refrigeration, and process clients.
